Double-Fiorentina Sharing Steaks at Bistecca

On the back of the popularity of its weighty 1.1kg Fiorentina wagyu sharing steak, Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse has now launched the island’s largest T-bone steak, the whopping double-cut 2kg Fiorentina wagyu. This hunk of meat is so large it needs to be ordered in advance to ensure the cut has been allocated and to begin the cooking process a few hours prior to dinner. Served in the classic Tuscan style, it is a fantastic option for large group bookings, such as the upcoming festive season celebrations. The large sharing steak is a spectacle to both view and eat, while the taste and look are nothing short of world-class.

World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants

Bistecca´s signature dish apparently is a genuine Bistecca alla Fiorentina – a decent cut, char-grilled T-bone steak from the Italian Chianina breed.

This cut is prepared in traditional Tuscan style over a high temperature wood-fired grill to produce a charred crust yet tender and medium-rare centre for an indulgent steak experience.

We were extremely surprised by the fact that the Bistecca is better in quality and preparation than in highly rated restaurants in Tuscany itself.

Also with a Ribeye from the Australian Wagyu you can see that the gentlemen at the grill understand their craft. If you want to take a closer look ask for the Chef´s table.

Steakhouses in Singapore: Where to find Great Steaks in Singapore

Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse holds a spot as Singapore’s first and only Italian steakhouse stays authentic to its Italian roots from its signature Italian dishes to the warm Italian farmhouse feel that their exposed brick walls and wood panelling evoke.

Their steaks are made from F1 wagyu MBS6+ meats, that are dry-aged in-house apart from being grain-fed for 420 days, which results in steaks that are slightly charred, flavourful and juicy.

Bistecca’s signature dish is Bistecca alla Fiorentina, a whopping 1.1kg thick-cut, char-grilled T-bone steak to share with your fellow guests. This hearty steak is perfectly charred, with even colouring throughout the meat, resulting in rich and flavourful meat.

Restaurants for your steak fix!

Situated in a heritage shophouse along Mohamed Sultan Road, Bistecca is a Tuscan-style steakhouse that’s an elegant spot for gatherings of all sorts – with friends, family or date night with your partner.

Here, it’s all about the signature Bistecca alla Fiorentina ($188), a whopping 1.1kg T-bone, that’s truly a sight to see. It’s popular too – you’ll see it on almost every table at the restaurant.

This sharing-sized steak uses pasture-raised F1 Karoge Washu (“Japanese Black”) wagyu from Australia and Tajima beef that’s been 420-days grain-fed. It’s served in thick-cut slices true to traditional Tuscan fashion and has a marbling score of six; each bite is rich, succulent and extremely flavourful. A word of caution, though: if you’re not used to thicker cuts of meat or if you’re a small eater, you should share this between three to four people.

Feeding an even bigger crowd? Bistecca offers the double Fiorentina, a massive 2.2 to 2.5kg sharing steak (ranging from $325 to $425) that can now be pre-ordered in advance (we’d suggest about three days prior to your dining reservation). Perfect for holiday dinner bookings, this steak is the largest T-bone served in Singapore!
