Bistecca´s signature dish apparently is a genuine Bistecca alla Fiorentina – a decent cut, char-grilled T-bone steak from the Italian Chianina breed.
This cut is prepared in traditional Tuscan style over a high temperature wood-fired grill to produce a charred crust yet tender and medium-rare centre for an indulgent steak experience.
We were extremely surprised by the fact that the Bistecca is better in quality and preparation than in highly rated restaurants in Tuscany itself.
Also with a Ribeye from the Australian Wagyu you can see that the gentlemen at the grill understand their craft. If you want to take a closer look ask for the Chef´s table.
